Yesterday we held a baby shower for my friend Cathy. Cathy has been my friend since we were little. She has a son who is 5 and has been thinking about having another baby for a while. When she finally got pregnant again, she was having a lot of scary issues . . . turns out, she is having TWINS!!! Everything is going wonderful and she is only a few weeks away from meeting her new son AND daughter!
For the My Finds Monday today I just HAVE to share the coolest gift she got yesterday at her shower! I really wish I would have thought of this and had the time to make it but I can't take the credit for creating the gift but you can thank me later for sharing it!
So . . . here it is! The frame of the little house is made of foam so it isn't super heavy. The foam is covered with diapers and the roof of the house is made with the jean diapers for "shingles". It doesn't look nearly as impressive in this picture as it was in person. It stands probably 3 feet tall! Make sure you click on the pictures to see them better!

Inside the diaper house were all kinds of goodies! There were cloth blocks, a Dreamlite, bibs hung on the walls, a blanket, spoons, binkies and a few toys.

The dolls inside the house are also made of diapers! They have outfits on them that the babies will be able to wear! I did find this tutorial on YouTube for how to make a baby out of diapers:
