I have an iPhone. I remember not too long ago when I had a BlackBerry and my husband had a Droid. All I wanted was an iPhone. I suffered through 3 years of BlackBerry nonsense and finally got my iPhone 4 . . . then (about 2 months later) the iPhone 4S came out and my husband got one of those. I'm due for an upgrade in January . . . so expect the newest iPhone to roll out sometime in March or April, just saying.
Anyway . . . what's my point?
The BEST thing about my iPhone is that I can get any information that I may need no matter where I am. There are also a TON of useful apps out there for helping to keep me organized. I'd like to share some of my favorites with you today!
Christine has been a longtime user of Cozi and I recently started using it a lot more, too! It's great for keeping all of the family on the same page and for having access to your info from different places - such as your iPhone, or Droid, Kindle, iPad, computer, laptop or even through texting!
Cozi offers a calendar, to-do lists, shopping lists and even a family journal!
Best of all it's FREE to start out and use the basic features! Cozi also offers a Gold Membership but I haven't sprung for the $49.99 per year upgrade, yet . . . I'm thinking I will if I find myself using it as much as I think I am going to, though.
Check out Cozi!
It's called ARTKIVE.
The basic idea of ARTKIVE is that you take pictures of your children's artwork and then you can use it to create other stuff - I'm thinking about the coffee table book myself - and then you don't have worry about throwing them away or them getting ruined, crinkled or taking up too much space on the fridge!
I think it's brilliant!
I hope you enjoyed this "Back to School" edition of My Finds Monday! If you have any cool apps that you like to use or anything that makes your "Back to School" a little easier PLEASE share!
We are linking up here today! Check it out!

What a coincidence, I just sold my iPhone 4S LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the follow, following back.
I actually read that! hehehe I LOVE my iPhone but my sister says she will NEVER get an iPhone . . . she hates them! Thanks for stopping by and following back!

ReplyDeleteHi Christine and Janene, thank you so much for stopping by this morning. Its funny that you have this post up because I use Cozi all the time. Its great because I can make a shopping list in cozi and instead of texting my husband what he might need to pick up from the store, he can just open the same app on his phone. I also keep like a million to do lists in it too and i love that I can use it on any device I have near me. Thanks for this post!
ReplyDeleteHey! I found you through the mom blog hop. The artkive thing sounds amazing. I can't ever bear to throw away my wee one's projects, and he's still a toddler. We'll have a hoarders situation on our hands before long without help. It would be so cool to turn all of his drawings into a photo book. Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeletegirlies..so glad you found me through the blog hop. i followed u back thru facebook and gfc. the adorable babies/kiddos in your header look like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for sharing my blog hop with your followers. :) It is so appreciated. I came by to return the follow and to say hi. I would love to be featured on the Sunday Sip. I tried to reply to your email, but you're set to no-reply.

ReplyDeleteMy fellow blogger, Tamar, swears by the cozi app! Guess I should really check it out. I posted today about back-to-school snacks, if you're interested: http://alimentblog.blogspot.com/2012/08/back-to-school-snacks.html?m=0

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I have to agree that the Artkive thing is pretty awesome sounding - I haven't really used it yet but the concept is brilliant and I am hoping it will work as well as it sounds. With 2 in school this year I am sure the paper work will just BUILD and BUILD!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more! One of my favorite things about cozi is all the different places I have access to it!
