We are so excited that you have decided to join us! No, really, we LOVE our readers and LOVE when they comment (don't all bloggers)?
Speaking of bloggers, we are hosting a "first" this week at the Sunday Sip. It's a *gasp* non-mommy blogger! Remember, our motto is that we are More Than Mommies - which means that a lot of our interests aren't always mommy related. We love Chelsea and her blog and think that you will love her, too!
Good Morning, Chelsea! Thanks so much for stopping by this morning! Let's start by having you tell our readers a little bit about yourself.
Hi! My name is Chelsea and I am a 20-something {non-mommy} blogger from beautiful Vancouver, Canada but currently on an adventure living in Auckland, New Zealand for a little more than a year now with my cute Kiwi boyfriend. I work at the head office for a skin cancer screening company by day, and design blogs by night.
My husband manages a dermatology office! They deal a lot with skin cancer. Small world, huh?
So . . . I've got a Dunkin' Donuts Pumpkin Spice Latte from my Keurig this morning. What about you? Morning drink of choice?

Coffee. Coffee. And some more coffee. If I had a Starbucks in my house, I'd have a latte everyday. Alternatively, if I had a Tim Hortons in my house, I'd have a large steeped tea triple triple everyday (seriously, try this bad boy if you never have). And my teeth would be rotten from sugar overload!
Tell us how you came up with the blog name "Yours Truly".
To be honest, it's no life-changing WOWZA story like some people have. Okay, most people probably don't have that behind their blog name, haha. I struggled with a blog name for a while..I wanted something simple and me. I was thinking something like "Simply Chels" or "Just Chellie" but my boyfriend kept saying those were lame. When signing off an email at work one day with Yours truly, it hit me. Yours Truly. AKA me. Easy peasy.
I think that's a really sweet blog name story! I like it better than the other two so bravo to the boyfriend for forcing you to keep looking!
Tell us one post you want our readers to check out. A must read or something you are just really proud of!

I'm not sure I am the best writer in the world and I don't have too many heartfelt amazingly written posts that I would say is the best thing ever that people should all read.... so I'll probably share another one of my talents instead of writing, graphic design. Here is a tutorial post I have done on making your own blog button!
Your blog looks fresh, young, and fun. I love that you are taking your passion for design and trying to make it into your day job. I also love that your blog is a peak into your world! How did your blog get it's start? Was it always your vision to have your blog seen in this way? And how do you see your blog going and growing in the future?
Thank you!!! I started my blog in early April this year. I had no idea what my intentions were at the time, just to write, make some friends and read other blogs. Starting blogging is what has led me to pursuing graphic and web design in school (yeah, blogging sorted out my career choice for me. So great, right?) which is something I have always loved but never thought about doing as a job. I definitely never thought my blog would be what it is today, especially in such a short amount of time. I think my blog will pretty much stay on the same track in the future as it is on now. It is non-specific which lets me write about anything and everything I feel like writing about, and I love that. I will certainly continue pursuing my new dream of graphic design full time, and blogging is for sure part of my daily life now, it's not going anywhere!
Finally, our trademark question doesn't apply in the case, but I'm sure you can relate to the spirit of our blog, which is: that our labels name us, but do not define us. So tell us: In what way to you want people to see you as more than . . .
I am definitely more than just a designer. I don't only write about design on my blog, I write about a few of my other main interests in life such as fashion/style & beauty. While I'm in New Zealand I am working in an office...but would you have guessed that when I am at home in Canada I am a sea kayak instructor? I am more than a designer- and while I absolutely love BEING a designer, there are a few other interesting parts of me as well :)
If you are new to More than Mommies, we are so glad you have stopped by! Stay a while and check out some of our posts and other Sunday Sip features! If you think you would like to be featured on The Sunday Sip, fill out our form and we will get back to you shortly!
