Welcome to the first installment of a new weekly feature here at More Than Mommies:
It's Friday . . . the start of the weekend!
As fellow moms, we know that the weekend isn't always as relaxing as we would like it to be. The kids are home. The hubby is home. Any "you" time you have is usually taken up by doing something for your family. Not a bad thing but it can wear a gal down, for sure!
So, let's start this weekend off right! Let's MIX and MINGLE with some other bloggers who are getting ready to kick off their relaxing (or not-so-relaxing) weekend on a fun "party" themed blog hop here at More Than Mommies!
The Mixer is designed to help you check out and share Blogs, Facebook pages, Twitter Handles and Pinterest Boards! You can jump on all the Linkys or only the ones that you feel like doing this week. We are hoping to make this a weekly feature here . . . so maybe you want to do GFC on your blog this week and Facebook next week. It's totally up to you!
Here are the "rules"

- Follow the Life of The Party - this week it is Melissa from S.O.S Mom (we choose a different Life of The Party EVERY week! All you have to do to be in the running is Tweet about us using the #MTMmixer hashtag - Tweet )
- Follow our Mixologist - we don't have a Mixologist this week . . . because it is week one. Next week, we will choose one participant to get our party started at the #4 slot. All you have to do is link up (and follow the "rules") to be considered!
- Follow the person directly BEFORE you on the hop!
- Finally, we ask that you post one (or both!) of the following buttons in either a post or on your sidebar to let other people know where you are partying today!
Then feel free to party hop around the rest of the list!
The fastest way to see success for your blog in a blog hop is to head on over to other blogs, comment, follow and ask them to swing by and party at your place!

ReplyDeleteWoohoo! I've linked up as much as I can! The only part I'm missing is adding the buttons...sadly my tech savvy-ness ends there.

Here's a mini tutorial on grabbing one of our buttons: The box under the button you want to grab is called a "grab box" inside the box is an HTML code for the button. Just copy and paste that little code into the code on the blog post you want to add it to...or you can stick the code into your sidebar if you wish. I hope that helps! ReplyDeleteI'll double check button code when I'm back home online. Everything looked fine...but you should have seen me putting them together. I could have very well screwed something up with them!
DeleteI double checked the codes and it looks like the buttons are working my end. The only thing I can think might be wrong is if you didn't copy the entire code from the box.
