It's funny, I used to get sick if I drank coffee, but now I can drink
it again and I drink it every morning!

When I was pregnant - all 3 times - I couldn't do coffee but now it's an EVERY day thing with me, too!

So, inquiring minds wanna know . . . who the heck is Dara?

Christine and I love to hear the story behind blog names. We didn't struggle too much with ours but we do have a reason behind it.  I'm sure you have a reason, too.  Would you mind telling us why you decided  “Not in  Jersey”?

I moved to Kansas from New Jersey and the title is a play on Dorothy's
line from the Wizard of Oz: "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore."
So instead of not in Kansas, I'm not in Jersey!

We all have posts that we love.  Christine wrote an awesome one on Wednesday that had me in tears!
What is one post that you want everyone who comes to your blog to read.

My favorite post is called "He's a Boy With Long Hair." It's about my

2 year old son and why he has long hair!

We would love to hear about how you decided to start blogging.  What kind of things do you find yourself writing about most?

I started my blog to write about our move from New Jersey to Kansas. I
then used it (and still do) to share my kids' school projects. I also
write about our adventures, as well as about my knitting, crafts,
running, and Judaism.

 Finally, at More Than Mommies we know that being a Mommy is rewarding and
 exciting on its own, but we also know that there is more to every Mommy than
 her Mommy duties.  What makes Dara "More than a Mommy"?

I love to knit. I recently trained for and ran a 1/2 marathon. I read
a lot. I love Disney. I love to be with my family but I also love
being alone!
